As a leading authority on OLED technology, he holds 40 patents on OLED materials and device configurations, receiving numerous accolades, including the American Chemical Society Award for Team Innovation, shared with Tang. Currently, Van Slyke serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Kateeva, a company pioneering inkjet printing technology that enables large-scale manufacturing of flexible and large-size OLED displays.
